CRDC Wildcard Searching
The following wildcard methods can be used when searching for courses within the CRDC Tool:

%at the end of a character string will return the same results as entering the string by itself: Math% will return Math 12345% will return 12345
_ underscore
One character
__at the end of a character string will return strings with the equivalent number of characters at the end of the string: X__ (two underscores) will return Xen, Xao Ander__ (three underscores) will return Anderson, Andersen
___before/between characters will return strings matching the criteria: _L_e_ will return results that start with L and have e as the third character, like Lee, Luestrom
___between two character strings will return the same results as a space: Olson_Zierke and Olson Zierke return the same results
[ ] brackets around values
A range of possible characters
[ ]around a character string will return strings containing any of the criteria specified within the brackets: A[ck] will return results starting with Ac and Ak, like Ackerman, Akerman, Ackton 1[123] will return results starting with 11, 12 and 13 like 11053,12949801, 13
(Adding % at the end of the string is not necessary)

Negation of character/string
^ omits strings that contain the specified criteria: A[^ck]% will return only results that do NOT start with Ac or Ak, like Altman, Aber, Atkinson
