The Graduation tool provides districts with the ability to track graduation information used in state reporting, AYP (Average Yearly Progress) determinations and NCLB (No Child Left Behind) report cards. Districts can track when a student first entered ninth grade and calculate their expected graduation date.

State Reporting Graduation Fields
The State Reporting Graduation fields are unique to the state of Virginia. These fields allow districts to enter graduation-specific data for each student in the state of Virginia.
Cert. of Gen. Studies/Assoc. Degree
Indicates if a student received a Certificate of General Studies or Associate Degree concurrent with a Standard Diploma.
Computer Science/World lang
Indicates that Computer Science will substitute for World Language as a graduation requirement.
Early College/Commonwealth Scholar
A state assigned code to identify students who are participating in the Governor's Early College Scholar Program. Only students in grades 09, 10, 11, 12, and TT report.

- 2: Earned Governor's Early Scholar Cert.
- 3: Commonwealth Scholar Program
- 4: Early College & Commonwealth Scholar Certificate
- 5: Participating Early College & Commonwealth Scholar Prgrms

GED Program
Indicates that the student is enrolled in a program leading to a GED.

Course in Two Parts
Indicates a student used credit accommodations as outlined in their IEP to obtain a Standard Diploma.
Expanded Score Range for Retake
Indicates the student received a credit accommodation of Expanded Score Range for Retake.
Subs for Economics/Finance
Indicates the student received credit accommodation of Subs for Economics/Finance.
State Seal Information
The State Seal Information section allows you to add State Seal records to a student's graduation record.
State Seal
Identifies the type of State Seal earned upon graduation to be placed on a student's transcript. Values available in the dropdown display in a locked Attribute Dictionary (System Administration > Custom > Attribute Dictionary > Graduation Seal > State Seal).

Date Earned
The date the student earned the State Seal.
Method
The manner by which a student earned a state seal on their diploma. Values available in the dropdown display in a locked Attribute Dictionary (System Administration > Custom > Attribute Dictionary > Graduation Seal > Method).

- OL: Online
- CL: Classroom
Proficiency Date
The date on which the student was considered proficient in the value entered in the Language field so they are eligible to earn a state seal upon meeting additional graduation requirements.
Language
The language in which the student earned state recognition.
