Health vaccines and their associated compliance listings are based on state guidelines. While Infinite Campus maintains standard guidelines for all states, districts have the ability to enter additional compliances. The following information describes vaccine compliance rules as defined by the Massachusetts State Department of Health.

 General Compliance

  • Vaccine doses administered less than or equal to 4 days before the minimum interval or age are considered valid.
  • Doses administered 5 days before the minimum interval or age are not considered valid and must be repeated as age-appropriate.

Meningococcal

  • the student is in state grade: 07, and
  • the student receives one dose of the Meningococcal vaccine.

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is in state grade: 07, 08, and
  • the student receives one dose of the Meningococcal vaccine.

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is in state grade: 07, 08, 09, and
  • the student receives one dose of the Meningococcal vaccine.

  • the student is in state grade: 07, 08, 09, 10, and
  • the student receives one dose of the Meningococcal vaccine.

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is in state grade: 11, 
  • the student receives two dose of the Meningococcal vaccine, and
  • the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than 56 days with a 4 day tolerance.
2 dose 21-22 & beyond

Active Start Date: 7/1/2021
Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is in state grade: 11, 12,
  • the student receives two dose of the Meningococcal vaccine, and
  • the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than 56 days with a 4 day tolerance.

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student receives one dose of the Meningococcal vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the birthdate is greater than 192 months with a 4 day tolerance.

Students are considered non-compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is in state grade: 07, 11, and
  • the student has not received any doses of the Meningococcal vaccine.

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is in state grade(s): 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12,
  • the student receives one dose of the Td or Tdap vaccine, and
  • the difference between the dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 84 months with a 4 day tolerance.

Grades 7-12 Default

Non-compliant

Students are considered non-compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is in state grade(s): 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, and
  • the student has not received any doses of the Td or Tdap vaccine.

Hepatitis B

Students must have received 3 doses of Hepatitis B to be considered compliant. The default setting is non-compliant.
