Blended Learning allows districts to create and assign learning groups to students to manage classes and attendance for students in a setting that is adaptable for students who are physically in a building for learning, for students who are virtually attendance classes, or a combination of both. 

Blended Learning groups provides the first step in reducing in-person class sizes.

Texas has defined a unique Blended Learning field that allows users to select the type of remote learning instruction. Further information on these fields is described below. For information on all other fields, please see the New Blended Learning Groups article.

Remote Learning Type

Use the Remote Learning Type field to select the type of instruction students will receive during blended learning. This is a required field.

In order to create Blended Learning groups, users MUST be in the 20-21 calendar year.
