Special Education Termination Report Editor

Report Logic

Students report when they have a value of 1-7 in the Reason for Termination or Transition of Service on their IN SPED Data Plan, the IN SPED Data Plan is locked AND the Date of Termination or Transition of Services on the IN SPED Data Plan has a value that falls on or in between the start and end dates of the calendar selected on the extract editor. If the start and end dates of the selected calendar are blank, students report from July 1 of the starting calendar year through June 30 of the ending calendar year.

When a student has multiple enrollments, the enrollment overlapping the Date of Termination or Transition of Services reports. If no enrollment overlaps the Date of Termination or Transition of Services, the most recent enrollment reports.

Report Editor Details

The following table defines the fields on the Special Education Termination Report editor.

Editor Field Description
Format The format in which the report generates. Options include Fixed Width, HTML, CSV and XML. HTML, CSV and XML formats are used for data review and verification, while Fixed Width should be used when submitting reports to the state.
Calendars The calendar(s) from which data is pulled for the report. This can be set to display only the active year's calendars, or be sorted by school or by year. Selecting a calendar will enter a default Snapshot Date in that field.
Ad hoc filter Choose an Ad hoc filter to narrow the results of the report. Only those students included in the filter are reported, if they meet the reporting requirements of the report.
Submit to Batch Users have the option to submit a report request to the batch queue by clicking Submit to Batch instead of Generate Extract. This process allows larger reports to generate in the background, without disrupting the use of Campus. For more information about submitting a report to the batch queue, see the Batch Queue article.
