The Maryland Integrated Science Assessment (MISA) extract measures a student’s achievement in science. This pretest file is used to register students for online testing and to create the preprint file used to create labels for the test booklets and MISA Science portfolios.

Report Logic

  • Student must have an active enrollment (any enrollment type) that meets the all of the following requirements.
  • Enrollment is in a calendar selected in extract editor.
  • Enrollment is tied to a state grade of 05 or 08.
  • Student does NOT have an active certificate tracked program as of the report effective date.
  • If student has multiple enrollments use the most recent primary enrollment, which meets the previous requirements.
  • If no primary enrollment exists, Campus uses the most recent enrollment which meets the previous requirements.
  • Students are NOT included if:

  • their enrollment record is marked as State Exclude;
  • their enrollment record is marked as No Show;
  • their Grade Level of enrollment is marked as State Exclude; or
  • their Calendar of enrollment is marked as State Exclude.
