Health vaccines and their associated compliance listings are based on state guidelines. While Infinite Campus maintains standard guidelines for all states, districts have the ability to enter additional compliances. The following information describes vaccine compliance rules as defined by the New Mexico department of Health.

General Compliance

  • Vaccine doses administered less than or equal to 4 days before the minimum interval or age are counted as valid.
  • The following doses are not counted as valid doses:
    • Doses administered 5 days earlier than the minimum interval or age.
    • With the exception of Hepatitis B vaccine, immunizations given before 6 weeks of age.
    • Half doses or reduced doses of a vaccine.

DTaP

RuleRequirements

 Age 0-1 months 

 No Requirement 

Students 1 months old and younger are not required to receive any doses of the DTaP vaccine.

1 dose by 4 months

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 1 month old but no older than 4 months, and
  • the student receives 1 dose of the following vaccines:
    • Diphtheria and Tetanus (DT),
    • Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, combined (DTaP, DTP),
    • Tetanus-diphtheria (Td), OR
    • Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap).

2 doses by 6 months

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 4 months old but no older than 6 months, and
  • the student receives 2 doses of the following vaccines:
    • Diphtheria and Tetanus (DT),
    • Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, combined (DTaP, DTP),
    • Tetanus-diphtheria (Td), OR
    • Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap).

3 doses by 47 months

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 6 months old but no older than 47 months, and
  • the student receives 3 doses of the following vaccines:
    • Diphtheria and Tetanus (DT),
    • Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, combined (DTaP, DTP),
    • Tetanus-diphtheria (Td), OR
    • Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap).

4 doses

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 48 months old but no older than 59 months, and
  • the student receives 4 doses of the following vaccines:
    • Diphtheria and Tetanus (DT),
    • Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, combined (DTaP, DTP),
    • Tetanus-diphtheria (Td), OR
    • Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap).

5 doses K-12

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 60 months old,
  • the student receives 5 doses of the following vaccines:
    • Diphtheria and Tetanus (DT),
    • Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, combined (DTaP, DTP),
    • Tetanus-diphtheria (Td), OR
    • Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap), and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 48 months with a 4 day tolerance.

3 doses  7+

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 84 months old,
  • the student receives 3 doses of the following vaccines:
    • Diphtheria and Tetanus (DT),
    • Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, combined (DTaP, DTP),
    • Tetanus-diphtheria (Td), OR
    • Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap), 
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous is greater than 6 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 84 months with a 4 day tolerance.

4 doses 7+

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 84 months old,
  • the student receives 4 doses of the following vaccines:
    • Diphtheria and Tetanus (DT),
    • Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, combined (DTaP, DTP),
    • Tetanus-diphtheria (Td), OR
    • Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap), 
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is less than 11 months with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the fourth dose and the previous is greater than 6 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 84 months with a 4 day tolerance.

3 doses 7+

In Progress

The student is considered in progress if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 84 months old,
  • the student receives 3 doses of the following vaccines:
    • Diphtheria and Tetanus (DT),
    • Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, combined (DTaP, DTP),
    • Tetanus-diphtheria (Td), OR
    • Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap), and
  • the difference between the last dose and the effective date is less than 5 months with a 0 (zero) day tolerance.

2 doses 7+

In Progress

The student is considered in progress if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 84 months old,
  • the student receives 2 doses of the following vaccines:
    • Diphtheria and Tetanus (DT),
    • Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, combined (DTaP, DTP),
    • Tetanus-diphtheria (Td), OR
    • Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap), and
  • the difference between the last dose and the effective date is less than 5 months with a 0 (zero) day tolerance.

1 dose 7+

In Progress

The student is considered in progress if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 84 months old,
  • the student receives 1 dose of the following vaccines:
    • Diphtheria and Tetanus (DT),
    • Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, combined (DTaP, DTP),
    • Tetanus-diphtheria (Td), OR
    • Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap), and

Hepatitis B

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is no older than 4 months old, and
  • the student receives 1 dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine.

 2 doses 4-6 months 

 Compliant 

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 4 months old, but no older than 5 months, 
  • the student receives 2 doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine, and 
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

 3 doses  

 Compliant 

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 3 doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine,
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the last dose and the second valid dose is greater than 56 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the last dose and the first valid dose is greater than 112 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 168 days with a 4 day tolerance.

 2 doses Hep B-2 Over 11 yrs 

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 132 months old,
  • the student receives  2 doses of the Hepatitis B - 2 doses (HepB-2) vaccine, and 
  • the difference between the last dose and the previous is greater than 4 months with a 4 day tolerance.

 1 dose Hep B-2 Over 11 yrs

The student is considered in progress  if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 132 months old,
  • the student receives 1 dose of the Hepatitis B - 2 doses (HepB-2) vaccine, and
  • the difference between the dose and the effective date is less than 3 months with a 0 (zero) day tolerance.

2 doses

In Progress

The student is considered in progress  if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 2 doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine, and 
  • the difference between the last dose and the effective date is less than 56 days with a 0 (zero) day tolerance.

1 dose

In Progress

The student is considered in progress  if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 1 dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine, and 
  • the difference between the dose and the effective date is less than 28 days with a 0 (zero) day tolerance.

MMR

Varicella

  • the student is at least 12 months (1 year) old, and no older than 47 months old,
  • the student is in state grade: PK (PreKindergarten),
  • the student receives 1 dose of the Varicella or Measles-Mumps-Rubella-Varicella (MMRV) vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance.

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 48 months (4 years) old,
  • the student is in state grade: PK (PreKindergarten),
  • the student receives 2 doses of the Varicella or Measles-Mumps-Rubella-Varicella (MMRV) vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

The student is considered in progress if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: KN, KF, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, OS,
  • the student receives 1 dose of the Varicella or Measles-Mumps-Rubella-Varicella (MMRV) vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the effective date is less than 3 months with a 0 (zero) day tolerance.

Polio

All OPV doses have an End Date of 04/01/2016.

  • the student receives 4 doses of the OPV, IPV, or IPV/OPV vaccine, 
  • the difference between fourth dose and previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between third dose and previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between second dose and previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 3 doses of the IPV or IPV/OPV vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 48 months with a 4 day tolerance.

 3 doses OPV 

 Compliant 

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 3 doses of the OPV or IPV/OPV vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 48 months with a 4 day tolerance.

Meningococcal (MCV4)

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 1 dose of the Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine, and
  • the student is in state grade: 07.

The student is considered non-compliant if they are in in state grade: 07 and have not received any doses of the Meningococcal vaccine.

  • the student is at least 18 months old, 
  • the student receives 1 dose of the Hepatitis A vaccine, and

Students are considered non-compliant if they are in state grade: PK and have not received any doses of the Hepatitis A vaccine.
