The SD School Calendar Instructional Hours Report displays information for instructional days, minutes and hours for all public school calendars in the selected regular school year.
This report is only available for South Dakota State Edition users.

Selection Criteria
All school calendars within the reporting school year with a District Code = 10: Public Schools are included in the report.
Summer School calendars (Calendar Type = S: Summer School), calendars where Calendar Number = 69 and Excluded calendars (System Administration > Calendar > Calendar > Exclude) are not included in the report.
Generating the Report
To generate the SD School Calendar Instructional Hours Report:
- Select the Extract Format (CSV or HTML)
Click the Generate Extract button. The extract will appear in a separate window in the designated format.

| Instructional Days | The number of instructional days in the reporting calendar. Logic counts the number of days in the calendar with the Instructional checkbox marked on the Days tab. | Day.instruction | System Administration > Calendar > Calendar > Days > Instructional |
| Instructional Minutes | The number of instructional minutes in the reporting calendar. Logic first looks to the Calendar > Days > Day Event > Instructional Minutes field. If there is a day event with instructional minutes, those minutes for the day's total instructional minutes is used. Logic then looks to the Instructional Minutes from System Administration > Calendar > Calendar > Student Day (instructional minutes) for instructional minutes for days that do not have day event instructional minutes. | Instructional Hours | The number of instructional hours in the reporting calendar.
