Health vaccines and their associated compliance listings are based on state guidelines. While Infinite Campus maintains standard guidelines for all states, districts have the ability to enter additional compliances. The following information describes vaccine compliance rules as defined by the Maine State Department of Health.

Immunization Rules

The following tables describe Idaho immunization requirements per vaccine.

DTap

RuleRequirement

0-14 months

No Requirements

Students 14 months old or younger are not required to receive any doses of the Diptheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTaP, DTP) vaccine.

15-35 months

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 15 months old and no older than 35 months,
  • the student is in state grade: PR: 4 Year Old Program or PK: Pre Kindergarten, and
  • the student receives three doses of the Diptheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTaP, DTP), DT, Td, of Tdap vaccine.

36 months and older

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 36 months (3 years) old,
  • the student is in state grade: PR: 4 Year Old Program or PK: Pre Kindergarten, 
  • the student receives four doses of the Diptheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTaP, DTP), DT, Td, of Tdap vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last and previous dose is greater than or equal to 6 months with a 4 day tolerance.

5 doses

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: KG: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, or 12,
  • the student receives five doses of the Diptheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTaP, DTP), DT, Td, of Tdap vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the fourth dose and the previous is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the last and previous dose is greater than or equal to 6 months with a 4 day tolerance.

4 doses

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: KG: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, or 12,
  • the student receives four doses of the Diptheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTaP, DTP), DT, Td, of Tdap vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the fourth dose and the previous is greater than 6 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the fourth dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 48 months with a 4 day tolerance.
3 doses
Compliant
The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is at least 84 months (7 years) old,
  • the student is in state grade: KG: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, or 12,
  • the student receives three doses of the Diptheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTaP, DTP), DT, Td, of Tdap vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 48 months (4 year) with a 4 day tolerance.

3 doses catch up

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: KG: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, or 12,
  • the student receives three doses of the Diptheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTaP, DTP), DT, Td, of Tdap vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the last and  previous is greater than 6 months with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the student receives one dose of the Tdap vaccine AND
    • the difference between the dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 87 months (7 years) with a 4 day tolerance.

Polio

RuleRequirements

0-5 months

No Requirement

Students 5 months old or younger are not required to receive any doses of the Polio (IPV, OPV) vaccine.

6-35 months

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 6 months old and no older than 35 months old,
  • the student is in state grade: PR: 4 Year Old Program or PK: Pre Kindergarten, and
  • the student receives two doses of the OPV, IPV, or combined IPV, OPV Polio vaccine.

36 months and older

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 36 months (3 years) old,
  • the student is in state grade: PR: 4 Year Old Program or PK: Pre Kindergarten, and
  • the student receives three doses of the OPV, IPV, or combined IPV, OPV Polio vaccine.

4 doses

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: KG: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, or 12,
  • the student receives four doses of the OPV, IPV, or combined IPV, OPV Polio vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 0 (zero) day tolerance,
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 0 (zero) day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 0 (zero) day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the fourth dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 0 (zero) day tolerance.

3 doses IPV

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: KG: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, or 12,
  • the student receives three doses of the IPV or combined IPV, OPV Polio vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 0 (zero) day tolerance,
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 0 (zero) day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 0 (zero) day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the third dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 48 months with a 0 (zero) day tolerance.

3 doses OPV

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: KG: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, or 12,
  • the student receives three doses of the OPV or combined IPV, OPV Polio vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 0 (zero) day tolerance,
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 0 (zero) day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 0 (zero) day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the third dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 48 months with a 0 (zero) day tolerance.

MMR

Measles-Mumps-Rubella

RuleRequirements

0-14 months

No Requirements

Students 14 months old or younger are not required to receive any doses of the Measles-Mumps Rubella (MMR) vaccine.

1 dose MMR

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: PR: 4 Year Old Program or PK: Pre Kindergarten, and
  • the student receives one dose of the  Measles-Mumps Rubella (MMR) or Measles-Mumps-Rubella-Varicalle (MMRV) vaccine.

1M 1M 1R

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: PR: 4 Year Old Program or PK: Pre Kindergarten,
  • the student receives one dose of the Measles vaccine,
  • the student receives one dose of the Mumps, vaccine, and
  • the student receives one dose of the Rubella vaccine.

2 doses MMR

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: KG: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, or 12,
  • the student receives two doses of the Measles-Mumps Rubella (MMR) or Measles-Mumps-Rubella-Varicalle (MMRV) vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the second dose and previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

1MMR 1M 1M 1R

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: KG: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, or 12,
  • the student receives two doses of the Measles, Measles-Mumps Rubella (MMR), or Measles-Mumps-Rubella-Varicalle (MMRV) vaccine,
    • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance,
    • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, OR
  • the student receives two doses of the Mumps, Measles-Mumps Rubella (MMR), or Measles-Mumps-Rubella-Varicalle (MMRV) vaccine,
    • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance,
    • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, OR
  • the student receives two doses of the Rubella, Measles-Mumps Rubella (MMR), or Measles-Mumps-Rubella-Varicalle (MMRV) vaccine,
    • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
    • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

2M 2M 2R

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: KG: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, or 12,
  • the student receives two doses of the Measles vaccine,
    • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance,
    • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, OR
  • the student receives two doses of the Mumps vaccine,
    • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance,
    • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, OR
  • the student receives two doses of the Rubella vaccine,
    • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
    • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

Hep B

Hepatitis B

RuleRequirements

0-14 months

No Requirement

Students 14 months old or younger are not required to receive any doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine.

36 months and older

No Requirement

Students 36 months (3 years) and older are not required to receive any doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine.

15-35 months

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 15 months old and no older than 35 months old, and
  • the student receives three doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine.

Hib

Haemophilus influenza

RuleRequirements

0-14 months

No Requirements

Students 14 months old or younger are not required to receive any doses of the Haemophilus influenza (Hib) vaccine.

18 months and older

No Requirements

Students 18 months old or older are not required to receive any doses of the Haemophilus influenza (Hib) vaccine.

15-17 months

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 15 months old and no older than 17 months old, and
  • the student receives three  doses of  Haemophilus influenza (Hib) vaccine.

Pneumococcal

RuleRequirements

0-14 months

No Requirements

Students 14 months old or younger are not required to receive any doses of the Pneumococcal (PPV) vaccine.

18 months and older

No Requirements

Students 18 months old or older are not required to receive any doses of the Pneumococcal (PPV) vaccine.

15-17 months

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 15 months old and no older than 17 months old, and
  • the student receives four doses of Pneumococcal (PPV) vaccine.

Varicella

RuleRequirements

0-11 months

No Requirements

Students 11 months old or younger are not required to receive any doses of the Varicella vaccine.

1 dose

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives one dose of the Varicella vaccine, and
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is less than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance.

2 doses K-12

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives two doses of the Varicella vaccine,
  • the student is in state grade(s): KG, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is less than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.
Default K-12
Non-Compliant
Students in state grade(s): KG, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, who have not received any doses of the Varicella vaccine are considered non-compliant.

Tdap

Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis [Tdap]

RuleRequirement

1 dose

Compliant

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: 07, 08, 09,10, 11, 12 and
  • the student receives one dose of the Tetanus, Diptheria and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine.

No doses

Non-Compliant

The student is considered non-compliant if the student is in state grade: 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, and the student does not receive any doses of the Tetanus, Diptheria and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine.


Meningococcal (MCV4)

RuleRequirement

1 dose 

Compliant

Active Start Date: 8/1/18

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12 and
  • the student receives one dose of Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine.

2 dose

Compliant

Active Start Date: 8/1/18

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: 12,
  • the student receives two doses of Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine,
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 192 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the previous is greater than 56 days with a 4 day tolerance.

1 dose 16+

Compliant

Active Start Date: 8/1/18

The student is considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: 12,
  • the student receives one dose of Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine, and
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birth date is greater than 192 months with a 4 day tolerance.

1 dose

In Progress

Active Start Date: 8/1/18

The student is considered in progress if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: 12, 
  • the student receives one dose of Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine,  and
  • the difference between the last dose and the effective date is less than 56 days with a 4 day tolerance.

Default 7, 8, 12

Non-Compliant

Active Start Date: 8/1/18

The student is considered non-compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in State Grades: 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12 and
  • the student does not receive any doses of the Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine.
