The Ad hoc Reporting tools allow users to create custom queries and reports on various types of information stored within the Campus database. Reports may be used for data analysis and state reporting and queries may be exported out of Campus or used to create filters for standard reports. Custom filters and reports are built by adding elements from Ad hoc Reporting tools like the Filter Designer. The following is a list of available fields that can be included in Ad hoc reports that draw from census and staff data.

The name of an Ad hoc element is not necessarily the name listed in the user interface; therefore, the following tables briefly define and map Ad hoc elements to the appropriate interface locations/fields.

These fields appear in Ad hoc Reporting > Filter Designer, but many can be used in the Letter Designer. However, some areas/fields are not currently available in the Report Designer.

The following fields are available in the Filter Designer. The filter field name and the actual interface field name may differ. Interface field names are capitalized within the definition when referenced.

Note that data returned for these queries is determined by how data is set up/entered in Census.

transactionRef	The unique ID number assigned to each transaction. This number is generated by the payment platform and appears on the transaction receipt. This number can also be looked up by running the Payment Transaction Report for the corresponding Payment Bank Account ID or for all transactions within a certain date range.
paymentTimestamp	The day and time on which the payment occurred.
amount	The total amount charged. This amount includes any convenience fee plus the total amount of the payment for the fees or food service deposit.
convenienceFee	A per-transaction, flat fee charge that the district can choose to charge the payer.
transactionFee	The fee the payment vendor charges the district to complete the transaction.
comments	The comment entered when the transaction was voided.
settlementDate	The date the transaction was settled.
processDate	The date when the transaction was initiated.
depositDate	The date funds for the transaction were deposited into the client’s account.
customerRef	The customer ID, generated by the payment platform, to identify who paid for the transaction.
feeFundID	The account name that is tracked in Campus to which the fee payment is attributed.
