Health vaccines and their associated compliance listings are based on state guidelines. While Infinite Campus maintains standard guidelines for all states, districts have the ability to enter additional compliances. The following information describes vaccine compliance rules as defined by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

General Compliance

  • Vaccine doses administered less than or equal to 4 days before the minimum interval or age are considered valid.
  • Doses administered 5 days before the minimum interval or age are not considered valid and must be repeated as age-appropriate.
  • Half doses and reduced doses of a vaccine are not considered valid.

DTaP

Compliant

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives four doses of the DT or DTaP/DTP combined vaccine,
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 48 months with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the last and previous dose is greater than or equal to 6 months with a 4 day tolerance.

3 dose after 7

Compliant

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives three doses of the DT, Td, Tdap, or DTaP/DTP combined vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the second and previous dose is less than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third and previous dose is greater than or equal to 6 months with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 84 months with a 4 day tolerance AND
  • the student receives one dose of the Tdap vaccine.

    • the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,

    • the difference between the last and previous dose is greater than 6 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
    •  the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 84 months with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the student receives one dose of the Tdap vaccine, and
    • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 120 months with a 4 day tolerance.

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives one dose of the Tdap vaccine, and
    • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 120 months with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the student receives four doses of the DT or DTaP/DTP combined vaccine, and
    • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 4 day tolerance,
    • the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
    • the difference between the third and previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
    • the difference between the last and previous dose is greater than 6 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
    •  the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 84 months with a 4 day tolerance.
1 dose with 3 DTaP / DT / Td / Tdap
Compliant
Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student receives one dose of the Tdap vaccine, and
    • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 120 months with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the student receives three doses of the DT or DTaP/DTP combined vaccine,
    • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance,
    • the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
    • the difference between the third and previous dose is greater than 6 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
    •  the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 84 months with a 4 day tolerance.
1 dose 20-21 11 year+
Compliant
Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is in state grade: 007, 008, 009, 010, 011, 012,
  • the student receives one dose of the Tdap vaccine,
  • the difference between the dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 132 months with a 4 day tolerance.
Default - No Requirement N/A
Default 7-12th - Non-compliantStudents are considered non-compliant if they are in state grade: 007, 008, 009, 010, 011, 012 and they have not received any doses of the Tdap vaccine.

Hepatitis B

Students in state grade PKF, PKP, PKA are not required to receive any doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine.

Compliant
Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student receives three doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine, 
  • the difference between the second and the first valid dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the last and second valid dose is greater than 56 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the last and first valid dose is greater than 112 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 168 days with a 4 day tolerance.
2 dose Hep B-2 Over 11 years
Compliant
Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is at least 132 months old, 
  • the student receives two doses of the Hepatitis B - 2 dose vaccine, and
  • the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than 4 months with a 4 day tolerance.

MMR

Until 7/31/2011, students are considered compliant with 2 Measles, 1 Mumps and 1 Rubella or 2 doses of MMR. After 8/1/2011, students are considered compliant with 2 Measles, 2 Mumps and 1 Rubella or 2 doses of MMR with doses administered on or after 12 months of age.

  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 48 months with a 4 day tolerance.

Meningococcal (MCV4)

All Meningococcal rules have a start date of 8/1/2011.

  • Has received 1 dose of Meningococcal (code: MCV4), and
  • The difference between the last dose and birthdate is greater than 192 months (16 years) with a 4 day tolerance.

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • Student is in State Grades 007, 008, 009, 010, or 011 and
  • Has received 1 dose of Meningococcal (code: MCV4).

Non-Compliant 

Students are considered non-compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • Student is in State Grade 007 or 012, and
  • Student has no recorded doses of Meningococcal (MCV4).
