The Enrollments tool displays all occurrences of a student's enrollment in the district. Data elements on the Enrollment editor vary greatly by state. This article provides information specific to districts in Maryland.

State Reporting Fields

FieldDescription
State Exclude

Excludes the enrollment record from reporting on all state reporting extracts that honor state exclude functionality.

Students marked as State Exclude are not included in any state reports.

FTEThis field is used to determine Maryland's attendance calculations for State Reporting.
Immunization ComplianceThis checkbox is used to help determine the State Aid Eligibility calculated value on the September 30th extract.
State Aid Eligibility

This field is calculated by the State Aid Eligibility tool, but can also be overwritten by a user with tool rights.

Options

  • 00: Withdrawn
  • 01: Eligible for state aid
  • 02: Ineligible – age 21 and over
  • 03: Ineligible – age less than 5
  • 04: Ineligible – no attendance in September
  • 05: Ineligible – Maryland non – resident student
  • 06: Ineligible – COMAR 13A.02.06
  • 07: Ineligible – documentation of immunization unavailable
  • 08: Ineligible – documentation of sustained effort or residency unavailable
  • 09: Ineligible – Nonpublic Placement
MigrantIndicates whether the student has migrant status.
Foreign ExchangeIndicates whether the student is a foreign exchange student.
Opt OutIndicates whether legal guardian has chosen to opt-out of the release of directory information.
Gifted/TalentedIndicates whether the student is identified as gifted/talented.
Non ResidentIndicates whether the student is a resident.

Homeless

Indicates whether the student is homeless.

Homeless Unaccompanied Youth

Indicates the student is not in the presence of a parent, guardian or legal status identified by the court system.

Primary Nighttime Residence

Indicates the nighttime residence of the homeless student.

  • D: Doubled-up
  • M: Motels/Hotels
  • S: Shelters, Transitional Housing, Awaiting Foster Care
  • U: Unsheltered

Homeless Served McKinney

Indicates whether the student receives McKinney-Vento funds.

Homeless Served Other

Indicates whether the student is served with funds other than McKinney-Vento.
Home SchoolIdentifies the home/responsible school for a special education student.

Home Schooled

Indicates whether the student is home schooled.
Proof of ResidenceUsed for MD Student Records Cards.
Single ParentIndicates whether the student is a single parent. Used in CTE reporting.
Military Connected StatusUsed to provide district with detailed information about the student's parent's military connected status.

Predominant/Prior/Home Care

Indicates the predominant, Prior, Home Care for PK students.

  • 4: Family Child Care
  • 5: Non-Public Nursery School
  • 6: Repeated Kindergarten
