PENR-1: Gifted and Talented Programs Indicator

Instructions: Indicate whether the school has any students enrolled in one or more gifted/talented programs on the Fall Snapshot date.

  • Include programs that provide special education opportunities including accelerated promotion through grades and classes and an enriched curriculum.
  • Gifted and talented programs do not include the Advanced Placement (AP) program or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Instructions: Enter the number of students enrolled in gifted/talented programs on the Fall Snaptshot date.

  • Gifted and talented programs do not include the Advanced Placement (AP) program or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Instructions: Indicate whether the school has any students in grades 9-12 or comparable ungraded levels enrolled in a dual enrollment/dual credit program on the Fall Snapshot date.

PNER-5: Credit Recovery Program Indicator - For 2017-2018 Version Only

Instructions: Indicate whether the school has any students in grades 9-12 or comparable ungraded levels, who participate in at least one credit recovery program during the Regular School Year.

  • Include any program, course, or other instruction that allows a student to earn missed credit in order to graduate from high school such as online courses, summer school, and school break courses.
  • Report data based on the start of the regular school year up to one day prior to the start of the following regular school year.

PENR-6: Credit Recovery Program Student Participation - For 2017-2018 Version Only

Instructions: Enter the number of students in grades 9-12 who participate in at least one credit recovery program during the Regular School Year.  Include ungraded high school age students in the count.

  • Include any program, course, or other instruction that allows a student to earn missed credit in order to graduate from high school such as online courses, summer school, and school break courses.
  • Report a cumulative count for the period beginning at the start of the regular school year and ending one day prior to the start of the following regular school year.
