The refresh process for Staging and Sandbox environments has been updated to fix an issue with users being redirected to a live site when attempting to log into Infinite Campus via the SSO button on the Infinite Campus login screen.
The refresh process now preserves your SSO setup and automatically updates the non-production Campus (Service Provider) Entity ID to a unique value consisting of the production value followed by an underscore and the site type (ex. _sandbox or _staging).
The non-production Campus (Service Provider) Entity ID format used by the refresh process may be different than the value you originally supplied to your SSO IDP. After your next refresh, if SSO is not functional, you will need to update the Service Provider Entity ID within your SSO IDP to match the Campus (Service Provider) Entity ID your non-production site now uses.
It is still necessary to re-upload the IDP metadata XML file/resync the IDP metadata URL in your non-production environment after each refresh.
For detailed instructions on getting SSO to work in a non-production environment after a site refresh, see the Sandbox/Staging/Non-Production Environments section of the SSO Service Provider Configuration article.
