The Attendance Reason Report counts the attendance by period and days. Blank dates default to the start/end dates of the calendar.
Report Logic
The Attendance Reason report returns the number of times a reason for an absence has been assigned to a student. The report lists the Code and the Description as entered on the Attendance Codes editor. For each attendance code:
- Periods is the count of all periods with that code.
- Minutes is a sum of the instructional minutes in those periods.
- Days is the calculation of Minutes divided by the Student Day Minutes assigned on the calendar.
This report only counts marks that exist in instructional periods. Marks in non-instructional periods will not be included in the counts on this report.
